This is a 6-7 week block of work.
1 hour lessons.
Aimed at yr 8 or KS3 - this is a block to get students understanding about different aspects of their health and wellbeing, factors that can impact it positively and negatively and how they can manage it.
This has 7 lessons (1 is a careers lesson, so potentially disregard this one)
One of the lessons should be done as an assembly - this is due to the nature of the topic - abuse. It really requires a consistent message from a DSL or equivalent within the school.
You have PPTs for the lessons and a booklet for students to work from.

All PSHE lessons have been created to cover strands of the PSHE curriculum, as well as following guidance from The Bell Foundation in terms of topics students should be learning about in each year group.
All my PSHE lessons are planned to include lots of discussions to ensure students are having the opportunity to learn from each other.
They cover the topics of:
LESSONS:
IDENTITY - STUDENTS WILL LEARN ABOUT IDENTITY, HOW IT IS UNIQUELY ATTACHED TO THEM AND WHO THEY ARE AS WELL AS FACTORS THAT IMPACT IT.
NATURE VS NURTURE - TO CONTEXTUALISE TO STUDENTS HOW ‘WHO WE ARE’ CAN BE SHAPED AND IMPACTED BY MANY THINGS
MULTICULUTRALISM – STUDENTS LEARN ABOUT HOW THEIR IDENTITY IS IMPACTED BY THEIR HERITAGE AND THE MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY THEY LIVE IN
PREJUDICE & DISCRIMINATION IN SOCIETY – LEARNING ABOUT THE PROTECTED CHARACTERISTICS, WHAT DISCRIMINATION IS, WHY WE NEED TO EDUCATE AND BE AWARE OF ALL GROUPS OF PEOPLE, AND THEN HOW WE CAN HELP PROMOTE ANTI-DISCRIMINATORY PRACTICE IN SOCIETY AND THE WORK PLACE.
ASSEMBLY:
NEURODIVERSITY (15MIN ASSEMBLY)
